What is an RSS Feed? 

An RSS Feed contains frequently updated content published by a Web site, usually used for news and blogs.

How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed in Windows Internet Explorer?

• Click the RSS Feeds RSS Icon button to view feeds on the Web page.
• Click Subscribe to this feed.
• Type a name for the feed and select the folder to create the feed in.
• Click the Add to Favorites Bar check box.
• Click Subscribe.
• To view subscribed feeds, click the browser's Favorites button, then click the Feeds tab.

How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed in Mozilla Firefox?

• Click the Always use Live Bookmarks to subscribe to feeds check box.
• Click Subscribe Now.

The 62ND Annual Escondido Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Escondido Jaycees, will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The parade will start at Escondido High School on Broadway and will continue south on Broadway to Grape Day Park at Woodward Avenue. 

The Escondido Police Department wishes to remind all motorists to plan an alternate route for traveling through Escondido on Saturday, December 8, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Broadway will be closed to all traffic from Rincon Ave north of Escondido High School, south along the parade route to E. Valley Parkway, including all intersections along the parade route.  Motorists wishing to bypass the parade route should use Valley Parkway from the south and Rincon to Country Club Lane from the north.  Also, eastbound SR 78 will be closed to through traffic onto Broadway (traffic will be allowed to go north or south on I-15 and Centre City Parkway) and westbound SR 78 will be closed from Ash St.  Centre City Parkway will be open to north and southbound traffic. 

The Escondido City Hall and California Center for the Arts, Escondido parking lots will be closed to the public.  These lots are reserved for parade personnel.
