An RSS Feed contains frequently updated content published by a Web site, usually used for news and blogs.

How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed in Windows Internet Explorer?

• Click the RSS Feeds RSS Icon button to view feeds on the Web page.
• Click Subscribe to this feed.
• Type a name for the feed and select the folder to create the feed in.
• Click the Add to Favorites Bar check box.
• Click Subscribe.
• To view subscribed feeds, click the browser's Favorites button, then click the Feeds tab.

On 06-17-11, a 22-year-old female reported that at about 8:10 AM, she walking in the 800 block of Bennett Avenue, south of El Norte Parkway.  An unknown adult male approached her.  The victim reported the male grabbed her around the waist, steered her towards a nearby vehicle and said, “Get in. Get in.”  The victim screamed and the suspect fled from the area in the vehicle. 

The victim described the suspect as a white male adult with a dark complexion in his early 30’s, approximately 5’8” tall, medium build and clean-shaven.  The suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head, black shorts and athletic running shoes.  The vehicle the suspect attempted to force the victim into was a 1990’s light blue Honda sedan.  The victim was not injured. 

The Escondido Police Department wishes to remind the public to be cautious about their surroundings and to be aware if anyone suspicious approaches them.  The suspect in this case has not been identified and the police department is seeking information about his identity.  Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Escondido Police Department Crimes of Violence Unit at 760-839-4717.
