At 11:55 AM, 05-04-12, a resident of the Oak Hill neighborhood of Escondido called 9-1-1 to report what she believed to be a burglary in progress. The witness reported seeing three male juveniles coming out of a neighbor's home. The witness confronted the juveniles who then fled the area. Additional witnesses called the police department to report suspicious persons running through the neighborhood. Officers and Detectives immediately responded to the area. One subject matching the description was spotted in a parking lot of Orange Glen High School. This person, a 16 year old student of the school, was identified as one of the persons seen fleeing the burglary. Further investigation led to the identity of the two additional suspects, also juvenile males ages 16 and 15. Both suspects were determined to be students of Orange Glen High School and were inside the school. Both suspects were removed from their classrooms and positively identified by witnesses from the scene of the burglary.
