The San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering will be holding a series of events around San Diego County during the week of March 16 - 23, 2013.

The Escondido Police Department will be hosting two days as part of this festival.

Fight crime with science at the Escondido Police Department. Take a guided tour of their crime lab and get your hands on the equipment and experiments used to solve crimes. Visit the Traffic Division and learn how to reconstruct collisions using math, physics and scientific principles. It's a rare look into the science of Justice, so make sure to attend.

These are all free events and geared primarily for grades 6 – 12.

EPD will offer four chances for participants to attend.  Participants only need to sign up for one of these offerings:

  • March 19 from 9 AM to 11 AM
  • March 19 from 11 AM to 1 PM
  • March 21 from 9 AM to 11 AM
  • March 21 from 11 AM to 1 PM
