Jasmin Robinson

On July 11, 2011, at about 11:00 pm, the Escondido Police DepartmentCommunications Center received a report regarding a missing 11 year-old female from 1501 E. Grand Avenue in Escondido.  Officers were dispatched to the location and began searching for the missing child.

The female, Jasmin Robinson, was last seen around 8:30 pm last night with a friend.  The two were seen walking away together enroute to an unknown location.  When Jasmin did not come home by 11:00 pm, her mother called and reported her missing.

Jasmin is described as being a black female with black hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and red Vans shoes.  There is no information about where she may have gone or who she may be with.

Officers from the Escondido Police Department are conducting a door to door search of the apartment complex at the time of this press release.  In addition, a Reverse 911 call has been made to the immediate area.  Sheriff’s Department tracking dogs are on scene and attempting to pick up a scent to follow.

At this point, no suspicious information has been relayed to the police department.  Jasmin was not reported to have gotten into a car with anyone and was not seen talking to anyone other than her friends.  Due to Jasmin’s tender age, the police department is making every effort to locate her in a timely manner.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Escondido Police Department at 760-839-4722.
