On March 2, 2011, at approximately 1010 hours, detectives from the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and officers from the Special Enforcement Team (SET) executed a search warrant in the 700 Hundred Block of Eastbury Street in Escondido. The search warrant was as a result of a longterm narcotics investigation which focused on a subject selling narcotics at and around Grape Day Park. The suspect, Glen Leo Williams, 48 years old, of Escondido was taken into custody for possession for sale of a controlled substance.

As a result of the search, detectives recovered the following narcotics:

  • 11.80 Grams of Methamphetamine
  • 30.8 Grams of Marijuana

The above listed narcotics were individually packaged and ready for sale. Williams was ultimately transported and booked at the Vista Detention Facility.
