On 2.2.2011 at about 2:45 PM, a 14 year old boy was walking in the area of Washington Avenue between Hickory and Juniper. He was struck by a white vehicle, possibly a Nissan Maxima. The driver fled the scene. The passenger side mirror from the suspect vehicle was left in the roadway at the scene of the accident. The 14 year old boy is in very serious condition at Children’s Hospital. If you have any information regarding this tragedy, please call.

Officer Michael Guerrero is the lead Traffic Investigator in this case. Anyone with information concerning this case is asked to contact him at 760.839.4470. This is case # 11-1559.
