The Escondido Police Department Records Division provides copies of accident, crime, and incident reports in the Business Office.
An Application for Release of Traffic/Crime Report Information form (ESPD 122) must be completed, and valid identification is required (driver’s license, passport, etc.). The fee is $15.00 per traffic or crime reports and $10 per CAD/incident reports and requires 4 to 10 business days to process. Payments can be made in cash or check only. All reports are subject to release in accordance with the California Public Records Act.
